Quiznight im Pógs

Jaaa, also da hatten wir gestern mal wieder Dienstag und somit QuizNight im Pógs...
Die Fragen hatten es diesmal wieder ganz schön in sich (okay, wie fast jede Woche, aber sonst wäre es ja auch langweilig) und trotz einer wirklich erfolgreichen Runde sind wir nach den kompletten acht Runden mit 30,5 Punkten nur auf Platz 10 (von 11 *grrr*) gelandet!

Aber für alle die nicht wissen, was eine Quiznight ist, hier erstmal eine kleine Erklährung!
Jeden Dienstag Abend findet ab ca acht Uhr im Pógs das von Pubtrivia veröffentlichte Quiz statt.
Gegen Anmeldegebür von 2,50€uro pro Person kann man Teams von bis zu 5 Leuten bilden (Wir sind übrigens die Pirates of the Pógs!).
Diese müssen sich dann durch insgesamt 8 Runden mit je 10 Aufgaben kämpfen! Die erste Runde besteht dabei aus Bildern, die man erkennen muss, die siebte sind kurze Musikstücke die angespielt werden, der Rest besteht aus mehr oder weniger allgemeinen Fragen!

Im gestrigen Falle war die Musikrunde sehr amüsant, denn diesmal waren es Filmsequenzen (auf deutsch! hoho!) und man musste den Titel des Filmes erraten (Also wirklich, Harry Potter und Zurück in die Zukunft waren ja wohl mehr als easy zu erkennen! *g*)
Naja, im Endeffekt hat es uns auch nicht viel genützt!^^

Vince war den ersten Teil des Abends alleine, da Kenny sich in der Küche versteckt hatte (Gott weiß warum)
Also musste er recht viel arbeiten und es war nicht wirklich viel Zeit da zum kommunizieren (eigentlich gar keine)

Ich habe mit einer Freundin über alles geredet...sie meinte, ich sollte einfach in die Zukunft leben. Außerdem hat sie (rein Beziehungstechnisch) keine allzu große Meinung von Vince. Sie hat da wohl so einige Sachen gehört...naja, ob man den Pubgerüchten trauen kann? Die sind ja immer so eine Sache, wie ich ja auch schon selbst öfters erlebt habe...-.-

Die Verabschiedung war dann wieder so verwirrend...ich war den ganzen Abend schon mies drauf (tut mir leid Leute, ich weiß, ich war unerträglich!) wegen der Sache am Sonntag und dann hatte Vince noch nicht mal wirklich Zeit...
Naja, zur Verabschiedung kam er dann sogar hinter der Theke hervor und nahm mich lange ihn den Arm...und gab mir einen Kuss auf die Wange.
Dann umarmte er Steffie und gab Sebi die Hand, nur um dann nochmal zu mir zu kommen, mich erneut lange im Arm zu halten und mir noch einen Kuss zu geben... wird da jetzt noch irgendjemand draus schlau oder bin nur einfach ich zu blöd um den typen zu kapieren? (oder Typen allgemein!)
Ich habe Steffie nachher noch gefragt ob er ihr auch einen Kuss gegeben hatte, sie sagte: "Nein, und so lange wie dich hatte er mich auch nicht im Arm...!"

Ich kann wohl wirklich nichts anderes tun, als den Rat zu befolgen, den ich mir auch schon selbst vorher gegeben hatte und einfach alles auf mich zukommen lassen.
Morgen Abend ist ja erst mal wieder Karaoke im Pub...und ratet mal, wer arbeiten muss...!?



Yeeeeeaaah, yesterday was tuesdays again and that means QuizNight at the Pógs!
The questenions were tricky again this time (okay, is there any time they aren't? But otherwise it would be boring if they weren't...) In spite of having a very good first round, we only placed tenth after all eight rounds. (out of eleven *grrrr*)

But for those who might doesn't know what a quiznight is, here some explanations:
Every tuesday at eight o'clock starts the Quiznight, presented by Pubtrivia.
After paying a fee of 2,50Euro for each person, you can create teams with at most five others (our team is called "Pirates of the Pógs"!)
They have to do eight rounds with ten duties each. The first round consits of ten pictures, the seventh is about short pices of music where you have to add singer and song, the rest are more or less questions about everything!

Yesterday the musicround was very funny, because this time they were short szenes of films, dubbed in German and you had to put down the titels of the movie! (Harry Potter and Back to the Future were very easy, I have to say!*g*)
well, the buttom line is that it didn't worked at all...^^

Vince was the most of the time alone, because Kenny was hiding in the kitchen (God knows why!) and so he had to work a lot and there wasn't much time for having conversation... (actually, none!)

I talked to a friend of mine about all this... she said that I should just live and see what happens in future...
above all she doesn't have a good view about Vince (only about relationships!)... She said that she'd heard some things about him...well, if you could trust them? Pub rumors are always a special kind of thing...I should know that!-.-

The leave-taking was a bit confusing again... I was pissed the whole evening (Sorry guys, I think I was almost unbearable!) becuase of what happend on sunday and that vince didn't really had time..
Well for the leave-taking he even came around the counter and he ambraced me for a long time... and even give me a kiss on my cheek...
After that he embraced Steffie and shook Sebi's hand, just to turn around to me and to embrace me for a long time again and to give me another kiss...
Does anybody understand this or am I just too stupid to get what this guy wants??? (or all guys...-.-)
I asked Steffie later if he'd given her a kiss, too, but she just shook her head and said: "No! And I think he embraced you for a much more longer time than me...!"

I think I could really do nothing else then take the advise, I'd given myself some time again, too, and live for the future just to see what happens next!
Tomorrow evening, there is karaoke again at the pub...and guess who has to work...!?

Ich fühle mich irgendwie komisch... ich weiß einfach nicht, was ich mit mir anfangen soll...
Am besten berichte ich erst einmal von Sonntag.

Nach dem späten aufstehen, machte ich mich auf nach Hause, duschen, etwas essen und so weiter, um dann wieder Sebi abzuholen und wieder in den Pub zu fahren.
Dort spielte an diesem Abend Thomas.

Ich muss ehrlich sagen: ich freute mich auf den Abend, zumal mir Vince endlich den Tanz versprochen hatte, den er mir schons eit Juni schuldet! *g*

Naja, wir waren die ersten da, Steffie und Liam wollten nachkommen.
Kurz nach uns trafen Frank und Barbara, Luke und Janine, Martina und schließlich auch Vince ein.

Kenny erzählte uns dann noch, dass er mit Tom und Mandy noch bis acht uhr morgens im Pub gesessen hatte...okay, selbst schuld!^^

Vince setzte sich an die Theke, wärend der Rest sich zu Sebi und mir an den Tisch direkt vor der Bühne stellte.

Thomas begann zu spielen und ich muss sagen: er ist wirlich gut!
Irgendwnan rief Luke uns zu sich und eröffnete uns, dass er am 10. Dezember nachdem wir fleissig in Sebis Geburtstag reinfeiern würden, ein weiteres Frühshoppen bei im geben will, um auch die anderen, die bei der Verlobungsfeier keine Zeit hatten (Liam, Steffie, Vince, Tom, Kenny, etc) daran Teil haben zu lassen.
Gott, das wird ein hartes Wochenende!^^

Irgendwann, nach ewigem Blickkontakt, kam Vince dann schließlich zu mir und forderte mich zum tanzen auf... so tanzten wir einen schönen Klammerblues zu Thomas Klängen von knocking on heaven's door...

Leider muss ich sagen, dass es das dann auch war...
Den Rest des Abends verbrachte er wieder an der Theke, war irgendwann mehr als Blau und schrieb die ganze Zeit SMS mit irgendwem...
Ich muss leider ehrlich sagen, dass mir das irgendwie weh getan hat...
Es steht so ganz im Gegensatz zu dem, was er mir die letzten tage (und schon weit vorher!) erzählt hat....ich werde daraus einfach nicht schlau.
Vielleicht lag es auch am Alkohol, ich weiß es nicht.
Ich warte einfach die kommenden Tage ab, wenn ich ihn sehe (Dienstag bzw Donnerstag).

Irgendwann haben sich die anderen auch verabschiedet (recht früh wie ich sagen muss) und Liam und ich sind als einizige bis zum Schluss geblieben, als thomas aufhörte zu spielen.
Zu Hause war ich dann so gegen kurz nach zwölf, wenn ich mich recht erinnere.

Eingeschlafen bin ich mit mehr als gemischten Gefühlen und auch heute habe ich den ganzen tag über gestern und die vergangenen Tage nachgedacht...
Am besten lasse ich alles auf mich zukommen...was bleibt mir anderes übrig?

Übrigens sollte ich eigentlich was lernen...ich muss noch Deutsch machen (dazu sollte ich erst mal dieses blöde Buch "Emilia Galotti" lesen) und für BWL lernen, schließlich schreibe ich morgen eine Klausur...
Und ich wollte heute mit Sebi zur Halle fahren und Klamotten kaufen (man braucht ja ne männliche Meinung, auch wenn's "nur" der beste Freund ist! ;-)), aber irgnedwie meldet der sich nicht... naja, bestimmt ist Steffie bei ihm! *hust*

After the late waking up, I drove home and had shower, had lunch, etc. After that I drove to to pick up Sebi again, to go to the pub (yeah, again!)
Thomas should play at this evening.

I have to be true: I wa slooking forward to this evening, especially cause Vince said that he wanted to dance with me, what he had promised since June! *g*

Well, we were the first guests there, Steffie and Liam wanted to come later.
Soon after us, Fran and Barbara, Luke and Janine, Martina and at least even Vince entered.

Kenny told us, that he, Tom and Mandy had stayed till eight o'clock in the morning at the pub...their problem!^^

Vince sat down on the counter, during the rest stayed with us at the table in front of the stage.

Thomas stareted to play and I really have to say that he is really good!
Suddenly Luke called us to his table and toled us that he wants to celebrate at the 10th of december, after we had a lot of fun with celebrating into Sebi's birthday, a new engagement party again, so that all the other epople who've had no time at saturday could join, too. (like Liam, Steffie, Vince, Tom, Kenny, etc)
God, this is going to be a looooong weekend!^^

After a long time, after lots of eye-contacting, Vince came over to me and asked me for a dance.... so we danced a wonderfull dance... to Thomas singing of "Knocking on heaven's door"....

Sadly, I have to tell that this was all for this evening...
The rest of the evening was Vince sitting at the counter, drinking his bear (he was really drunk) and writing messages with someone...
I sadly have to say that this really hurts a bit...
That's totally unlike to what he had told me during the last days (and long before!)...
I don't understand that...
Maybe it was because of the alcohol, I don't know...
I just wait what happens the next few days, when I'll see him (tuesday and thursday)

At any time, the others left one after one (early, as I have to say) and only Liam and I stayed till Thomas stopped playing.
I was at home around twelve, when I'm right.

I fell aslepp with confused feelings and I thought about yesterday and the last few days today the whole day....
I think I just wait and see what happens next, what else could I do...?

By the way, I should learn something...I still have to do my German homework (And first I should read this terrible book "Emilia Galotti") and I should learn buissness studies, because I'm writing a class exercise tomorrow...
And actually I wanted to drive to a shopping center today with Sebi to buy some cloth (It's always good to have a male opinion, even if it's "just" the best friend), but he didn't answer my messages... maybe because Steffie is with him? *hrm hrm*

It was a long night last saturday

Das Wochenende ist vorbei und ich bin immer noch müde! (okay, wann bin ich das nicht? *g*)
Es ist aber auch einiges passiert!
Freitag war ja noch recht harmlos, ein Videoabend mit Sebi und seiner Freundin Steffie (Glücksbärchies und Clueless, bitte keine Kommentare dazu, ja?^^) der ungefähr um ein, zwei Uhr endete.

Anders da der Samstag!
Morgens um elf aufstehen und meine Eltern zum Bahnhof fahren (sie wollten nach Köln zum Weihnachtsmarkt).
Anschließend hatte ich etwas Zeit für mich.

Um kurz vor sechs dann machte ich mich auf zu Sebi!
Wir waren beide auf die Verlobungsfeier von Luke und Janine eingeladen!
Um sieben Uhr brachte uns der Bus also zum Ahrenerfeld, da ich mein Auto bei Sebi stehen lies, um was trinken zu können.

Vor Ort erwarteten uns schon einige Gäste, darunter Kauli, ein Freund von Sebi!
Kurz nach uns trudelten noch Frank und Barbara ein, die sich auch direkt zu uns setzten. Zu fünft führten wir dann noch einige interessante Gespräche über Bücher, Filme und andere Medien.

Unter den anderen Gästen waren noch einige andere bekannte Gesichter, Pete, Jack, Thomas, Moritz und viele mehr die man so aus dem Pub kennt, so dass ich es mir nicht verkneifen konnte, Vince eine SMS zu schreiben: "Do you have something to do a the Pógs? I'm at the engagement of Luke&Janine and nearly everyone who's here is normaly at the pub!;-)thomas, pete and all the rest!:)"
Als Antwort bekam ich dann: "I'm working, it's going to be a long night. have fun."
Ich schrieb wieder: "So there are people in there? How come? As I said, nearly everyone is here!:) let's see how long it takes here, maybe we come around later!Then it'll be a long night!"
Prompt kam die Antwort: "Alot of people for the band. Not so many regulars are in, but some."
Dazu muss man eben sagen, Vince ist Amerikaner und arbeitet im Irish Pub! (siehe Fotos unten!)

Naja, im Endeffekt war es doch sehr lustig und ich war schon verdammt gut dabei! Drei Becher RedRed (Mischung 2:1), Ein einhalb Flaschen Sekt und dazu kam, dass ich den ganzen tag nur zwei Brötchen abends bei Luke gegessen hatte!
Dementsprechend gut ging es mir, als Sebi und ich dann gegen kurz nach zwei beschlossen, die Party zu verlassen und nochmal im Pub vorbei zu schauen.

Im Pub traf man komischerweise die gleichen Leute wieder, die man vorher schon bei Luke gesehen hatte: Thomas, Martina, Jack und Pete!
Die Band (Sphinx) hatte bereits aufgehört zu spielen, aber die Stimmung war immer noch super!

Wir unterhielten uns prächtig (danke nochmal an Tom und Pete, die mein englisch gelobt haben! Tom meinte es sei fast Oxford english und fragte doch tatsächlich ob ich schon einmal in einem Englischsprachigen Land gelebt hätte! *g* Nein Tom, aber ich habe es vor!^^) und nach zwei weiteren Cidern ging es mir wirklich mehr als gut! (I belive I can flyyyyyyy....oder so ähnlich!^^)
Ich erinnere mich noch als ich zu Vince sagte: "I think I'm drunk..." und er nur grinste: "Noooooo!?" *g*

Schließlich sind wir bis ca halb sieben im Pub geblieben... wir (also sebi und ich) waren die letzten Gäste und saßen noch mit Tom, Vince, Kenny und Mandy an der Theke.
Als Vince dann schließlich beschloss zu gehen, haben wir uns auch mal aufgemacht.

Die Verabschiedung vor der Türe von Vince war übrigens sehr interessant... hab ich das alles noch richtig in Erinnerung?
Naja, auch egal! ;-)

Wir wir später erfahren haben, sind die anderen noch bis acht uhr dort geblieben! OMG!
Sebi und ich lagen so gegen Sieben uhr im Bett und haben bis ca drei uhr geschlafen....und das Bett hat sich tatsächlich ein bisschen gedreht!^^


The weekend is over and I'm still tired! (okay, is there any time when I'm not tired? *g*)
But I mean, it happened a lot!
The friday was harmless, I watched some DVDs at my place with Sebi and his girlfriend Steffie (Carebears the Movie and Clueless, please no comments about that!) what endet at about one or two o'clock.

But then there was Saturday!
I rosed again at eleven and brought my parents to the train station (They wanted to travel to cologne, visiting the Christmas market there.)
After that, I had some time for myself...

Around six o'clock I drove to Sebi.
We were both invented to celebrate the engagement of Luke and Janine.
At seven o'clock we took the bus to Ahrenerfeld, cause I let my car at Sebi's, so I could drink something.

At Janine's there were already some guests, including Kauli, a freind of Sebi.
Short time after, Frank and Barbara arrived and they took seats next to us.
We talked about books, movies and other medias, what was very interesting, I have to say!

Between the other guests there were some common faces, like Pete, Jack, Thomas, Moritz and many others we know from the pub, so I couldn't deny myself writing a message to Vince:
"Do you have something to do a the Pógs? I'm at the engagement of Luke&Janine and nearly everyone who's here is normaly at the pub!;-)thomas, pete and all the rest!:)"
He answered: "I'm working, it's going to be a long night. have fun."
I wrote again: "So there are people in there? How come? As I said, nearly everyone is here!:) let's see how long it takes here, maybe we come around later!Then it'll be a long night!"
The answer was: "Alot of people for the band. Not so many regulars are in, but some."

After all, it was really funny and I had a lot of drinks: Three glasses of RedRed (Mixture 2:1), one and a half bottle of champaign and I had only two biscuits for lunch at Luke's.
So I was in a really good mood when sebi and I decided to leave the party at around two o'clock, to take a look at the pub.

In there, there were many faces we had seen at Luke's before: Thomas, Martina, Jack and Pete!
The band (Sphinx) had already stopped playing, but the vibes were still great!

We had a lot of conversations (and again thank you to Pete and Tom who told me I had a really good english! Tom said it would be nearly Oxford english and he asked if I had ever lived in an english speaking country! No Tom, but I want to!^^) and two Ciders later I was in a more than just funny mood (I believe I can flyyyyyyyyy...or something like that!^^)
I only remeber telling Vince: "I think I'm drunk..." and he just smiled: "Noooooo!?" *g*

Finally, we stayed at the pub till half past six in the morning... we (what means Sebi and I) were the last guests and we were sitting with Tom, Vince, Kenny and Mandy at the counter.
When Vince decided to leave, did we leave, too.

the leave-taking outside the pub between Vince and me was very interesting.... Do I remeber everything? Well, who cares?;-)

The others stayed till eight, as we heard later! OMG!
Sebi and I went to bed at seven and slept till nearly three. That was necessary! And I think the bed really turned around a bit! ^^

Halloween 2006

Halloween ist zwar schon was her, aber ich stelle die Bilder trotzdem mal online!
Ich war mit Liam, Sebi und Diny im Irish Pub "The Pógs" in Rheydt, wo wir sowieso fast unsere gesamte Freizeit verbringen *g* (Dienstags Quiznight und Donnerstags Karaoke).

Alles in allem war es wirklich ein schöner Abend, von ca zehn bis knapp sechs Uhr morgens, jede menge Cider, gute Musik und super Stimmung!

After all, it was a really great evening, from about ten p.m. till early six a.m., a lot of cider, great music and really good vibes!
